David spent the first 8 years of his career in the Australian special forces and completed two Master’s degrees. He has spent 10+ years working as a project manager and project controls specialist across a range of industries including transport, mining, utilities, defence and government. In 2019, he started his own professional services company specialising in project management and project services. It has 7 staff, services diverse industries and also has an Indigenous Development pathway. This pathway brings talented youth into the business where they are educated and developed into project professionals. The company has had 100% success rate with its trainees completing their certificate IV and securing ongoing full-time employment with Yanun.
