Based on the NSW South Coast, her family has connection to Jagera country. Catherine started her career as a Women’s Issues Field Officer at Ipswich ATSILS that taught her great respect for the work community organisations’ do and she loved making a difference in people’s lives, particularly women and young people. Next Catherine managed a healing centre at Rockhampton before moving to Canberra to complete a Bachelor of Arts at ANU (Political Science and Anthropology). She worked for AIATSIS, the Commonwealth Attorney General’s Department, advocating land rights for the NSWALC and at NACCHO. For the last 7 years, she has been creating and building a First Nation Wholesale Distributor.
